Each pack contains 2 socks that are fitted to your drive wheels (powered wheels) and a pair of fitting gloves. SILKTRUCK is a heavy duty snow sock produced by SILKNET, it’s flexible fabric allows you to fit and remove the socks easily in comparison to traditional metal chains.

Snow socks and chains should be fitted to all drive wheels. If you have a 2 wheel drive vehicle you need two socks, four wheel drive vehicles need four socks. Our Snow socks and chains are all sold in pairs, so if you order one product, you get two socks or chains.
Yes, all of the products that we sell (chains and socks) are legal for use in the UK and Europe where snow chain signs are shown.
No, much like snow chains, you must remove them from your vehicle in non snow or ice conditions.
Snow socks ideally will last for a few winters at least, provided they are used on snow and ice covered roads, they show little signs of wear. Hard driving or driving on non covered or patchy roads will damage the material.
Fitting can be done in 2 minutes with a little practice, however 2-4 minutes is easily achievable on snow socks. Snow socks are far quicker and less complicated than chains. See fitting section here.
Unused products can be returned to us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange (Taking chains or socks on a journey where they might be needed or legally required is considered use) . Products and packaging must be in the same good condition that they were supplied in. Please quote your name, address and order number and the new product part number required for exchange or request to refund in with your return and ideally inform us before they are returned and return them using a tracible delivery service.
